Nov 14, 2003: The latest update on the Amityville Horror remake isn't much of an update: following the success of their remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, producers Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form are still developing their Amityville Horror redux. No word on the current involvement of writer/director Daniel Farrands (Amityville: The Haunting, Amityville: Horror or Hoax?), who was involved in scripting this project.

The working title for the movie is The Amityville Horror: 25 Years Later. The story involves one of the Lutz sons returning to his family's famous house to bury the past ... only to find that the past has now come back to haunt HIM.
