Another Halloween copy (from Halloween producer Moustapha Akkad, no less) that is light on the fear part, despite its emphasis on the supernatural. In fact, it's the supernatural elements of the story that make it silly toward the end. Of course, poor acting (and a downright bad performance from Douglas Rowe as a detective) doesn't help. If you made an appointment with this film, cancel. (Jan 16, 2000)
