I'm going to experiment with the types of works that find their way into their site. Reviews of horror film scores belong here, to be sure. As do CDs of Halloween stories and creepy sound effects. But what about music that evokes feelings of horror? Like Bach's Tocatta and Fugue in D Minor (think Dracula)? Or the music of Penderecki, some of which you heard in Kubrick's The Shining? Also, things will get a little sticky when we cross into popular music. For instance, Murder Ballads by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds is a grade-A (in more ways than one) addition to this section, but where do we draw the line? For now, submit, and I'll post. We'll see how it works out.
