Reviews SUBMIT YOUR REVIEW Jack Witzig May 7, 2002 RATING Out of 100 63 Coming from a movie so immersed in its own self-conscious atmosphere, this soundtrack album has a remarkably tenuous connection to its source. For every "Big Empty," (Stone Temple Pilots) there's a "Ghostrider," which comes off as fake, and a "Color Me Once," a song which I'm having trouble identifying the reason for its inclusion. Other tracks that are up to the standard STP set are NIN's "Dead Souls" and "Golgotha Tenement Blues," by Machines of Loving Grace. The album wraps with Jane Siberry's "It Can't Rain All The Time," which turns purposely obscure dialogue from the film into faux-hopeful pretention. Now, if you'll pardon me, I'm going to go watch the movie again.
