The way this album flows is definitely the best thing about it. The disc moves along nicely from theme to theme, with the occasional overdone laugh or "horrifying" exclamation breaking up the music. All of which probably makes it good for a Halloween party.
On the other hand, the fact that some of the music is performed terribly may make this an album to keep on only if most people in your house are going to ignore the music anyway. For one thing, I find it irritating that the "Hit Crew," the people re-recording this music, couldn't get the Halloween theme right. It's a synthesized theme that they couldn't play correctly--on a synthesizer! The playing on this track made me cringe--it's full of what we graduates of the Tournament of Bands call "phasing;" that is, not all of the instruments are in synch. The Twilight Zone theme is played almost as poorly, and in the wrong pitch--it's almost unidentifiable, which is saying something, considering how well-known it is. Lesser evils are the Amityville Horror theme, which isn't nearly as creepy here as it is when sung by a children's choir, and the selection from The Sixth Sense, which I don't even recognize. Try not to listen too closely to this album, and you may be okay.
