Nicholas Pike's score for Sleepwalkers delves into a variety of different styles, from eighties guitar rock to ambient chant, making this album mildly interesting, if not particularly involving. Pike seems to reflect the capricious and hesitant nature of cats in his music, though that direction results in one of his pieces, the "Main Titles," in fact, being a bit too hesitant to find a tone. The score is more subdued than you'd expect from the film itself, and though the inclusion of "Sleepwalk" is appropriate, albeit obvious choice, the rehash of "Do You Love Me" does little but disrupt the album's flow.
