Though it's definitely for the younger set, Believe still may mildly entertain parents who don't want their kids to sit through a ghost movie without them. The actors are not bad, and the film does manage a few somewhat creepy moments. Its effectiveness is hampered by an at-times almost episodic method of storytelling and by an overwrought ending, but it's a decent ghost movie for, if you'll forgive the use of an old cliché, the whole family.
