There is little or nothing I could say about A Christmas Carol that hasn't been said repeatedly, and by writers wiser than I, over the past century and a half. So instead of a review or an analysis of this work, let me provide a recommendation. If you've never read this amazing story, do so. If you haven't read it since you were in school, please revisit it. Though you may have witnessed many filmed versions of this story, you still haven't experienced the lovely visualizations that Dickens has put into the original story. A Christmas Carol is that rare work that if it was read and truly absorbed in all its humanity, the world would be a wonderful place in which to exist.
