The whole innocent-person-sees-through-a-killer's-eyes thing ought to be put out to pasture for a few years. Maybe I don't like the concept as a whole; it seems to me that even when it's done well, the concept feels tired.
The Killing Hour is not a shining example of this kind of thriller. It doesn't contain any new ideas, the craftsmanship reveals competency but not excellence, it isn't particularly chilling (with the exception of a murder done in a pool). So it's not bad, just faintly boring; just kind of . . . there?
