This movie got me pretty excited at the beginning. The directing, I thought, looks sorta like Sam Raimi's in Evil Dead 2, before he even did it! Too good to be true. It's almost as if director David Blyth stepped out a few minutes into the film and someone else came in to helm the rest. With the exception of some decent lighting, Death Warmed Up is forgettable. It also doesn't help that the film stops making sense about three quarters of the way through. No, that doesn't help at all. (Aug 19, 1999)
