Synopsis
Rupert Everett is Francesco Dellamorte, the caretaker of a European cemetery where the dead have the unfortunate habit of going for nightly strolls. Everything is fine with Dellamorte--he's adaptable, not to mention philosophical--until he meets a beautiful woman whose continuing existence seems to violate even the cemetery's unnatural laws.

A well-blended brew of art, gore, and comedy, Cemetery Man (also known under the much better title Dellamorte Dellamore) is certainly unique. It sustains a sanguine atmosphere throughout (in more ways than one) and also manages, with help from excellent set design and an interesting score, to hit all the right macabre keys. Rupert Everett is perfectly deadpan as the lead, the humor is suitably macabre, and the ending is creative and thought-provoking (though some might consider it merely confusing). Highly recommended.

I think this is one of the sexiest and more aesthetic films I've ever seen. You'll never forget it. Lots of surrealistic and decadent references. You have truly nothing to lose by watching it.

I love this movie; it's definitely worth seeing if you can get your hands on it. Its dark humor and strange plot are well worth the search.

I loved this movie! I fell in love with Rupert Everett here. He did such a good job with the toughness of being so depressed all the time. His assistant was awsome too. I loved the "forbiden romance" that was well worked in, and all of the the special effects with Death were great.

This movie is so wierd, but in a good way--it just sucked me in. That guy was hot in this movie. I've seen him before, but I like the new "gothic" look to him. His little side-kick was a "cutie" to me, and played his part well. Cemetery Man will be a movie I will not soon forget.
