On November 13, 1974, Ronald DeFeo killed his entire family in the house that would be come to further fame in The Amityville Horror, later claiming demonic forces made him do it. Details Jack Witzig I haven't seen the Murder in Amityville documentary, though it is mentioned in Hans Holzer's interesting book of the same name. It seems that the documentary couldn't build enough interest in any of the television networks, so it was scrapped. The Amityville Murders website once claimed that it was "outstanding."
