Frenchman's Farm is a good idea, but one that is bogged down by a confusing plot and uneven directing. Really, the plot itself isn't that confusing, but the script throws so many names at us that we get lost. Or I did, anyway. There are a few good shots of the ghost, but he winds up hanging around so often that we loose our fear of him. (Sep 9, 1999)
