This turns out to be a typical insane scientist movie, with a doctor intent on making evil mind control experiments on unwitting patients. Though it follows the usual pattern, with innocents stumbling upon a warped master plan hatched by an intelligent but insane man, there are a few silly moments that give the viewer breather from the over-the-top plot. Among these somewhat redeeming qualities is a quirky midget thrown in for a small bit of levity and comedic element that at least makes this movie stand out a little from usual stuff (but not much).
