You'd think after I bought Uncle Sam (it was just for $2.50, so don't get upset for me) and my wife and I watched it, that we would know better than to rent Jack Frost. Jack Frost has pretty much the same production values as does Uncle Sam, but it also has a juvenile sense of humor that keeps it moving through what feels like about fifteen endings. All the pain and death inflicted by Mr. Frost is silly--this movie has the dubious honor of including the most ridiculous rape scene ever filmed. (Please do not take that comment as a signal of approval.) Don't get me wrong, though--Jack Frost is still pretty bad. (Apr 18, 2001)
