"Charming" is the best word to describe everything about this Irving adaptation--it describes everything from the illustrations to Glenn Close's voice acting. In addition, the original story was adapted quite well into a thirty-minute timeframe, which makes it perfect for any restless little ones. Not to fear, though, adults: the slightly disconcerting undercurrent that runs through the better Sleepy Hollow adaptations is here for adults to enjoy but for kids to miss. Recommended for a chilly October afternoon.
