I'll be frank--I'm getting a bit tired of TV-movie-type murder mysteries packaged as horror films. That's kind of harsh when it comes to Postmortem--it wasn't that bad. Charles (yup) Sheen gives a performance that is properly subdued at times, and fits in with the gravity of some of the scenes. On the other hand, director Albert Pyun is far too aggressive in a lot of shots that call for subtlety or at least calm. If I want a Pyun film, I'll leave Postmortem on the shelf and watch the much more stylish--and certainly more fun--Mean Guns instead. (Nov 29, 1999)
