Synopsis
The small country town of Greentown, Illinois receives the most excitement it's had in years when a mysterious carnival arrives during a dark autumn night. The wonders of the Cooger & Dark carnival are numerous and amazing, but as two boys and the town librarian begin to suspect, they come with a terrible price.

Something Wicked is a spellbinding fantasy--at times scary, at times magical. Jason Robards is absolutely fantastic as the town librarian. Jonathan Pryce is also well-cast as the malevolent Mr. Dark. The perfect Halloween movie, especially for the family. The library sequence is a masterpiece of filmmaking.
